Russia, Qatar to host Football World Cup 2018, 2022

ZURICH: Russia will host the 2018 Football World Cup while Qatar will host the 2022 World Cup following vote by FIFA's executive committee members here on Thursday, FIFA president Sepp Blatter announced.
Russia beat off competition from England, Spain/Portugal and Netherlands/Belgium.
Qatar beat off competition from Australia, the United States, South Korea and Japan.
