KARACHI: Kiwis skipper Daniel Vettori will miss the T20 series against Pakistan starting from December 26 at Eden Park due to injury.
Daniel Vettori has suffered soar back and due to this injury he also missed the first ODI against India last month and also skipping the T20 domestic tournament in New Zealand. Kiwis will play three T20 matches against Pakistan before the start of the two match test series.
Vettori wanted to concentrate on the test series against Pakistan starting from January 7 and decided to skip T20 series as per the advice of his consultant. New Zealand cricket team is going through one of the worst bad patch in international arena as after they suffered two white-washes in a row against Bangladesh and India in three months.
