Grant Flower included in Zimbabwe squad

Former Zimbabwe batsman Grant Flower has earned a surprise recall from the national team after 6 years as Zimbabwean selector and his former team-mate Alistair Campbell announced the squad for the upcoming series against South Africa.
The 39-year-old Grant Flower had a successful county season with Essex this summer where grant scored 527 runs at an average of 65.87 and played vital role in Essex progress to the semi final of Clydesdale Bank 40.
 He represented Zimbabwe in 67 test matches and scored 3457 runs at an average of 29.54. In 219 ODIs for Zimbabwe, he scored 6536 runs at 33.69. He last played for Zimbabwe in 2004.Flower was returned to Zimbabwe this August and was appointed as batting coach of Zimbabwe national team.
 The another shocking decision in Zimbabwe squad was the non-selection of Brendon Taylor. He was the leading runs scorer for Zimbabwe in ODI this year with 471 runs at 39.25.
 Zimbabwe will play three ODIs and two Twenty20 matches against South Africa this month before South Africa will leave for UAE to play series against Pakistan.
